A&A’s Records & Tapes. Located next door from SAM’s, A&A’s was equally as fun to shop in. A&A’s was known for knowledgeable staff and historic “in-store” autograph signings from some of the greatest rock stars that found themselves landing in Toronto as part of their North American or World Tours. If Sam’s had any competition in the City, it was A&A’s and they could go toe to toe with the record giant as they shared their own little piece of Yonge Street. The Record Industry was robust in those days, there was room for everyone and the people benefited.
