Willowdale Hall of Fame item: WKBW Channel 7. Although not based in Willowdale (or even Canada for that matter), there were so many of us who grew up in Willowdale watching cartoons in the mornings with Commander Tom’s Rocket Ship 7, then took in a good Buffalo house fire with Irv Weinstein on Channel 7’s Eyewitness News at 6pm… and for that, we deem it worthy of a “Hall of Fame” nod.
