Willowdale Hall of Fame item: The CHUM Car Sign! It seemed at one point, every car in Willowdale (and the GTA) was driving around with a “CHUM Car Sign” window decal in their rear window, just hoping to win some sort of prize if they were spotted by a “Chum Prize Spotter”. It was a near impossible to get this decal off your car window once it was stuck on, and there are likely some survivor cars in junkyards that still sport this decal in their window. The decal’s backing read: “ This Is a CHUM Car Sign” (in bold letters), and underneath that it read: “Simply stick it on the rear window of your car – then get ready to win cash and prizes when we spot you displaying your Chum Car Sign” This was one genius marketing plan!
