Walking around in this store, seeing all the planes hanging from the ceiling, and shelves full of boxes on top of boxes of ready to be built plastic model kits of your favourite old hot rods – it was intoxicating, and if you couldn’t afford a model car, plane, train or boat… you could always pick up a new Bat Kite or an elastic powered balsa wood flyer!
