SAM The Record Man. One of “THE” most iconic retail storefront signs ever put up in Toronto’s history. This giant double ‘neon lit records’ signage is known around the world by music fans, record collectors, historians and tourisits alike. The SAM’s downtown store was the king of all Toronto record stores, their inventory was always fully stocked with something for everyone in every genre… and their annual Boxing Day Sale Events were legendary. This sign was removed once the building was purchased, but it was preserved, restored and has now been re-erected atop the Ryerson University building located at 277 Victoria Street.
